These are just very basic rooms, small with no amenities, BUT very clean and comfortable. The owners were very friendly and helpful and the property was quiet. Very good value for the money. If you want to avoid high hotel costs, and you're just looking for is a place to shower and sleep, I highly recommend! Definitely will stay there again.

Delightful checkin with smiling staff. Clean room, comfortable beds. Even laundry guy was smiling!

Housekeeping was a problem. Original room we checked into looked like the maid had laid on the bed and never straightened it afterward. Second room they put us in had a used washcloth in the shower. Otherwise it is a very nice hotel. They just need to fix their housekeeping staff/process.

Everything was clean, but it didn't always look it because there were drops or chips of paint from the recent renovating, which maybe wasn't fully professionally done. The hatred parking was nice, as was the courtyard. The location was convenient, walking distance to a few shops/ restaurants and a quick bike to downtown or Mexicantown. It was a disappointment that there wasn't any way to heat up water for tea (no microwave, etc.) I could request hot water in my travel mug from the staff downstairs, but at some point in the evening the hot water dispenser/ coffee maker would get shut off and they would pour me tepid water.
